Education. It's the only way to beat this intentionally intellectually lazy movement. Either that or deploy subliminal/tricky marketing, fighting far-right with their own tools.
Janna K. (she/her) | Swing Left
19:50
You can find your closest swing district here: https://swingleft.org/targets

I'm a lifelong registered Republican. When the HELL are the Democrats going to start acting like this SHIT MATTERS. We all know the priorities: They're calling for VIGILANTES to intimidate voters.
Kathleen C Hill
21:05
I’m old enough to remember what it was like pre Roe v Wade. Reproductive rights are human rights.

25:55
will there be another Orientation meeting after today??
Heidi Rechteger
25:58
What is most effective? Texts, door knowcing, calls, letter-writing?
Julia (she/her) - Swing Left!
25:58
If there is an issue with their absentee ballots, such as a signature-matching issue or a missing witness signature, these states allow voters a chance to fix or cure their ballot in some form in order to help avoid their ballot being discarded and their vote not counting.
Julia (she/her) - Swing Left!
26:10
And there will be opportunities to get involved with that!
Julia (she/her) - Swing Left!
26:41
TO WRITE LETTERS - Go to https://votefwd.org/swingleft to make an account – which will take up to 48 hours to get approved, and start writing letters to voters.
Alison Freeman
27:25
but if it takes 48 hours to get approved, that only gives us 24 hours to write letters
Julia (she/her) - Swing Left!

Can you explain what canvassing really involves?
Priscilla Hayner
39:19
Letter writing: you print out a page, and then you fill in a short paragraph of "why I vote” that encourages them to join you in voting. The printed part includes basic info re: further info, etc.
Rosemary O'Neill
39:23
